Oh my gosh. Freeze some. I'd barely want to eat that bread. It's a work of art.

How beautiful, your bread. I had a surplus of bananas so made banana bread and promised my neighbors some but it was so bad, I ate a few slices and froze the rest for a time when it might sound good to eat.

Hoarding flour, or not using flour. Need white sugar to feed the humming birds. My friends who are bringing me food can't find any sugar...The first hour of the day is when we old people can go to PCC and Safeway but staying put for now.

Glad Page is with you. He's young and willing to get on the roof.

My tenant has a partner who says they will come over and turn up the heat in my hot water heater. Can't fill up the tub without the water going cold.

Be well and safe, dear Rebecca.

Gorgeous loaves! Homesick for my Kitty and loves. Keeping you, Page and your kitty clan in my thoughts. Much love and hope the flour fairy visits soon.

Thank you Tom. I said the same thing last night when part of the long loaf fell warm into my mouth. ❤️

Mary I don’t think my little freezer will hold any more. I’ve filled it with soup! Thank you. Bread for sandwiches now and French toast later then panzanella much later if our CSA brings a tomato or two. ❤️

Coyote I have a weird feeling about grouping all us elders together in the store at once but I am paranoid on a good day it’s like my paranoia has been fed yeast. Which I hear is no longer available here either. Oy. I am so glad the kid is stuck here for the roof and for avoiding the elder herd. ❤️

Good lord! That stuff looks like a master baker made it! I wish I lived on that island down the road from you. I'd bring you a piece of cornbread in exchange for a piece of your bread.

Elizabeth I would welcome your cornbread with a pot of black beans I would also break open one of those loaves and a stick of butter and split it with you. Thank you❤️
