it's beginning to look a lot like Beethoven's Birthday

oh oh oh yesterday my official Day Of Rest began with me running around the crap house flattening boxes and packing up my car for the trip to the island today and ended with a frantic phone call to my chemist for Zofran after barfing for about an hour he didn't wait for fake fake doctor nurse to call it in he just gave me three so The Surfer (thank the Animal Gods he was here!) drove there and picked up the three I took only one stopped barfing ate a soda cracker and fell asleep The Slumlord cashed his last rent check from me EVER and as soon as the snow melts we're heading out to Sweet Lime which looks like this right now:

wooohooo SNOW DAY!!!

Sweet Lime. That is a particularly wonderful phrase in my ear. Where I'm originally from it connotes warm convivial togetherness with supreme comfort and no fixed intent. I love your house but I am so in love with your deck. Imagine being able to step outside your door and see the forest around you and the sky above you in all seasons. No more ceiling pressing down on one's head. I'm so happy for you you'd think I was moving in!

Sweet Lime is my car's name. I meant to write Summer's End but I was looking out the window at my car which looks like a snowball. I wish you could come decorate my house for me. I know why I'm lacking that particular skill. Being homeless makes you from then out only think of survival. I do have a spectacular art collection though. And the ceilings here are literally sinking the light fixture in my son's room is hanging by a thread. We are at the point now where we are just tossing stuff in paper bags!!! I took one of my hoarded Zofran only one left...so I can get to the island and back today. I ate a red grape and a cracker. I have to admit I have been worried about The Slumlord. More worried than I need to be but he is pure evil and I don't want him showing up unannounced which is awful and also illegal. I don't want him showing up announced either. I love you. I miss you. xoxox

Your spectacular art collection will make your home fabulous! And your new furniture is beautiful too so I think you have more skill than you give yourself credit for. I am failing at decorating my own house, especially the art on the walls, so you might just be in better shape than I am in that regard. Still it would be fun to cogitate with you on where to put what and where to hang what. Of course in the end, all that matters is that its comfortable to you, and makes you feel at peace in the space. xoxo

Yes. If you find beautiful things or have beautiful things that sing to you and just put them around, you will have decorated perfectly.
We are all so happy and excited for you, darling Rebecca! This is the best adventure yet!
