I apologize for the serial posting I can only think in increments right now
I went to urgent care for my finger and the nurse pulled the bee stinger out from under my fingernail where it had lodged itself so tomorrow I have to go to a real doctor to get her mess fixed
I can't take my seroquel tonight because it makes me sleep for 14 hours and my appointment is at 8 AM and this is causing me stress

my son brought me peaches apricots and 40 pounds of bing cherries from his orchard

and I turned them into this for winter's bone

here is a young girl throwing a huge weight over her head in the Highland Games

I bought this tapestry of the Green Man with Celtic knots at the games and hung it on the wall of my living room he fills the wall and is most beautiful

and here is a spider I found when I drove around trying to find a 10 acre sculpture park on my island I think I was getting close

Photobucket where I've been storing my photos for five years has decided I have to pay $499 a year to put my photos on this blog
NO

that's it for now Darklings
gonna go cry for no reason except here I am stuck with this faulty brain
crying is what I do best

i love the way you own your crazy, which is not crazy, just a mind spinning faster than most of us can spin, and thank god you have art, and a son who brings you peaches and bing cherries, and our love.

I love your brain, actually. And I love that photo of the apricots. They are so divine and sexy and soft.

"For winter's bone."
Thank you.
I would be stressed as hell too. I spend about 98% of my life worrying about going to a doctor. May it be over soon and peace reign in the valley again.

Dear Joanne, hi! I'm glad you like my green man. He will look superb once I paint the walls white. They are still the ghastly orange the previous owners thought was new and modern. Actually they are just seriously orange. xor

Elizabeth, thank you! You know if I take a good photo it's an accident but my subjects here were very cooperative. I am lucky to own a child who owns an orchard. That makes summer the very best food in the world. xor

Mary, I did not go! In fact I took your advice and mixed Neosporin with goldenseal root powder which I found in my medicine bag with a "use by" date of 2010. It looked like pesto and I slathered it on my finger and wrapped it tight twice and now it's pretty much healed. It also gave me a craving for spaghetti but I crave spaghetti all the time and I did resist licking my finger with its pesto deliciousness because I'm not that crazy. Yet. xor

Dear Blogoratti, Hello! And welcome to Summer's End my house in a forest on an island. I did not make the doctor appointment as I despise them all but I am healing enough to type again. Yes it is a lot to pay for storage considering I have less than one hundred photos there. I will find another way. Right now I posted a painting of my own that exists on another blog of mine that I used to write my manuscript about Henry Darger. If you come back you'll learn a lot about him. I would like to put a link to your blog if it's okay with you. Thank you for dropping in! Rebecca
