I'm a life long lover (and feeder) of wild birds. Who is your magical friend? I've never seen the likes of him/her before.

Mary and Laurel Ms LKD hello hello! It is good to see your face here my friend. I have no idea what kind of bird that is isn't he stunning though? I have searched all my bird books and sent the photo to my son so he can search his. So far no luck. I do hope he comes back. The hummingbirds here are neon and friendly I have feeders front and back and no curtains so we (Jupiter and I) watch them with awe. I never saw city hummingbirds so brave which now that I type it sounds ridiculous to me. I guess city hummingbirds were the kind to carry tiny knives and wear wee brass knuckles. You would love it here both of you.
love

ps. this bird looked to me like he was wearing formal tailcoat oh back in the olden days I used to own one for concerts it was wool and eventually the moths in the old house ate it but it was spectacular.

Well, now. That makes me smile and smile. I hope Laurel visits you often. He's a rather beautiful bird. :) Also, I watched the entire royal wedding after having no plans to do so and was glad I did. It renewed my hope and belief in real love. It made me think that maybe, just maybe, the awful darkness that has descended upon our country might soon be lifted. Please, let there be light. SOON.
