To me, it means that whatever you're working on lives inside you body and mind. Lives inside you (me) as nourishment or even god until you can work it out as the body of a manuscript. I felt this strongly with Radish King somewhat with Cadaver Dogs though CD lived more strongly in my brain in an intellectual way as opposed to Radish King which burned out of me and Queer Wing-ed is so profoundly inside me sp physically in my body that I got a Vivian Girl tattoo in order to bring it forth. To help midwife the poems.

psps. I first encountered Darger's work at the Frye in Seattle in 1996. His work lived in my body, invaded me and worked at me until I started writing the poems in 2009!

Oh! Thanks for sharing its meaning to you. Its so true! Though I never thought of it that way before. I don't have Radish King. I only have Amelia Earhart, who it turns out might not have perished at sea. Love.

Actually in the mail Monday. I thought today was Sunday until a moment ago when I saw our mail carrier drive past we call this slippage island time though I call it not punching a time clock and letting the hours tick away.
