I have spent most of the last two days trying not to puke but I wanted to tell you that there is a creative nonfiction excerpt from Queer Wing-ed right here with amazing art from Swedish performance artist Leif Holmstrand

Guest editor Johannes Goransson called it “a breakneck maximalist excerpt”

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Thank you Darklings

I enjoyed reading this so much. Like diving headfirst into a pinball machine of images and feelings. A Leo girl agrees.

Thank you so much for reading it and for writing that. I feared it would languish here forever alone in the dark cave of my ego. ♌️

Hope you feel better soon. I don't like feeling like that, I know how it is. Big hugs.

... girls who survived impossible situations...

This is what connects us, I think. I fear the impossible might be winning.

I read it and had to remember to breath. I tried to comment but it wasn't working for me.
The other day August and I were looking at a big book about mermaids that I have and in it there's a pocket which holds one of those cellophane fortune telling mermaids. August was enchanted. "It's like magic!" he said several times. I told him that according to the chart and the behavior of the mermaid in our palms, we both have "great passion." I tried to explain what passion is. He remembered that the next day and told me, "I have more great passion than you." I told him, a bit sadly, that this is true.
