Boreingest blog post ever
my stomach aches right now so this post will be boring
you've been warned
my fig tree might not look like much to you but it looks like the whole wide world to me
I dug up my Lady In The Bathtub/Bleeding Heart/Dicentra Spectabilis (which sounds like a wizarding spell from Harry Potter) in the dead cold of winter during my move here and threw it in a pot hoping it would survive and look what I discovered this morning! JOY!
this is a Fairy Path in my back yard not to be confused with the Deer Trail
here I am looking exactly this fuzzy and tired and exhausted HELLO! her pancreas screamed on the brink of 64 years but I still have the best hair though I haven't brushed it in three months and prednisone has given me squirrel cheeks also YES I STILL HAVE MY NIGHTIE ON but I wash it every day almost

Hello! Hope your tummy calms a bit. Prednisone is a hitch. Gets my gut every time. I recognized you immediately in that picture, you of the glorious hair. Magic everywhere at Summer's End.
Xoxo
Barbara
You could have simply posted the picture of your fig tree and it would have been enough. And oh! That bleeding heart!
Life just wants to keep on going, doesn't it, whether chick or plant or us.
Fairy trail. Oh, my heart.
Barbara there are traces of you all over Summer's End. Thank you for mentioning my hair and not my rather tragic countenance. HA! I typed countenance without thinking. Also the day I saw my new doctor Jackson I sprouted a giant pimple on my chin. High School terror! I apologized to Dr. "call me Jackson" Jackson for its hideousness and he said Are you kidding? I don't know many women your age who have enough natural oil in their skin to even consider growing a pimple. A good doctor!
Love
Mary you know how I feel about that fig tree! And there are Fairy Trails everywhere on this island. This trail in my yard leads to a tree into which I placed a fairy door. Just in case.
Your hair has grown so much, and it's incredible that you still have that glorious color!
I love fig trees, I adore figs, even the feel of them in your hand.
I would love to stay in my nightgown forever, it's really pretty, I'm going to haul in out and then we will have a pajama party! xx
Liv, figs are God's candy and my favorite food on this planet. Living in my nightgown began with depression and ended with illness and lack of energy not enough of it to button my jeans. I got dressed today thinking I'd take a drive but I ache to hard to leave the house. Instead I beat the shit out of some flour sugar yeast and milk to make cinnamon rolls for the new people who just plopped a house down two blocks away. My new neighbors. No one brought me cinnamon rolls when I moved in here. I only got thr six hundred year old Seventh Day Adventists Mr. and Mrs. Kooper though I only let them in once because it was so bloody cold outside. They didn't mention my nightgown.
Hahahahahaha, that is so funny! Because many years ago, probably 1982, I let in two evangelical people because I was depressed and they caught me off guard....and I was in my nightgown, hahah. They stayed for about 10 minutes (enough to satisfy their god, I guess)and then scrambled out the door pretty much in shock, (boy, what a conversation they must have had in the car!) I ...just went back to bed. Life!
I hope for your animal gods to surround your pancreas and lick it til clean and healthy...xoxo
i picked you out in that header photo right away! i am sorry your stomach aches, but there is so much beauty popping out around you and I am glad to be here to share in it. Your eyes sparkle. Did you know that? I didn't even see the nightgown.
