April Fool
I have signed up or rather I'm attempting to sign up for National Poetry Month aka NaPoWriMo aka write poem a day month. I tried this once and while I managed the poems the force of it went totally against the grain of my daily practice. Then I sent 10 postcards a day in April for a few years but that eventually began to feel like throwing poems at a wall for no reason. This might just be the jump start I need.

I have a very good friend from high school and we have been constant communicators since. So. Long ass time. And for awhile, we sent each other a poem a day which we had written. It was a very interesting experiment and I enjoyed it.
I still have and cherish the postcards you sent me everyday for a month a few years ago. I have moved since, so now I am lost.
Your admirer,

Laura! It means so much to hear that you liked the postcards. I’ve amassed quite a collection of them though not by design just by accident and April. Congratulations on your move was it exhausting? It took me a year to recover from mine. Bone tired is not alas a cliche.

Mary I have no friends from high school thank jeebus. Alice is my most lengthy friend over 25 years I think.
